Fine Arts is a really big deal at Soul Purpose. Each year we have over twenty students involved in district and national Fine Arts.
Fine Arts: What is it? Who does it? And What does it accomplish?
Great questions. Each year students from around the nation polish their talents and give their best in front of their peers and ministry professionals in order to grow their gifts and become more effective in ministry
Fine Arts exist to help students discover and develop their ministry gifts.
Beginning in September each year, over 70,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals.
These festivals are opportunities for students to receive practical instruction and encouragement from respected ministers recognized for excellence in their field.
So join with others around the nation in doing their best and giving their all to see Christ lifted up by the gifts and talents he has invested in you!
What the kids have to say..
"Fine Arts is one of my favorite things! It allows me to share God's love with others! I have been doing Fine Arts for about 3 years now and just being involved has taught me so much about ministering! I have learned there are lots of ways through the arts to share Jesus. Also, you get really close to the people you minister with and you get to make so many new friends. It's also a blessing to receive what God does through so many other people! Fine Arts is really cool!" Haley, 14
"Fine Arts means the world to me. Its an awesome chance to get to take the gift that God blessed me with and bless someone else with it! Being at a Fine Arts Competition maybe the only chance someone has to get their life straight with God, and its amazing to know God can work through me or you to reach that one person!" Tyler, 15
